Tour of North Clydeside - Week Commencing 29th August 2022

The Tour of North Clydeside is the successor to the Tour of Cydeside following the decision of Renfrewshire AAA to stop supporting the TourDetails:The Tour of North Clydeside is a series of 3 races taking place over 5 days. Together they total 15 miles, all on the canal, allowing the opportunity for fast times.Each race is also an open event - this means not all runners will be participants in the tour. Participants must complete all 3 races to be eliigible for Tour prizes.Series Entry Fees£13 SAL Members£19 Non-SAL MembersIndividual Entry Fees£5 SAL members£7 non-SAL membersDates & Course InformationMonday 29 August 2022 – Bowline Bounce, Dalmuir- approximately 5 miles- starts and finishes near to Bridge Street in Dalmuir. There is s path from the canal to Bridge Street. Park in Beardmore Street or in the Clydebank Industrial Estate near the roundabout.Wednesday 31 August 2022 – Bandstand Boggie, Clydebank- approximately 5 miles- starts and finishes at the bandstand in the Clydebank Shopping centre. Park in the Shopping Centre.Friday 02 September 2022 – Dumbarton Dash- approximately 5 miles- starts from the Pavilion, Dumbarton East (adjacent to Crosslet Road) out and back.Time: All races start at 19:30.Age Limit: Competitors must be at least 17 years old on day of the first race.Race Entry Limit: Entries are limited to 100 for each race.Facilities: There will be no changing facilities.Results: Live timing from ProTay.Prizes: There are no prizes for the individual races but a wide range of prizes for the Tour, based on the accumulated positions in each of the 3 races.
