Results: Race Round Up: 8/9th April 2017

Another busy weekend of racing for Garscube Harriers this weekend across events ranging from 5k to 80k! At the High Terrain Events Kielder Ultra, Donald McPartlin was on winning form in the 80K , setting a new course record in the process.  What a fantastic result  in only his 2nd ultra distance event.  Barbara Anderson also ran well in Kielder, taking 23 minutes off her time from last year in the 50K event.   Athletes were also competing at the Grangemouth Round the Houses 10k (where Isabella Sheldon, running for her University team, scooped 3rd FU20 prize), Winton 5k Trail Run, Kilomathon, and Paris Marathon.  Well done to all those who took to the start line and showed some Garscube Grit.   #beallyoucanbe
