RESULTS: Highland Fling Ultra Marathon & Relay 29 April 2017

Wow!  Incredible results from our Ultra marathon runners at Garscube at the 53 mile -Highland Fling this weekend.  Taking the lead just over Conic Hill, superstar Nicola Adams-Hendry won the women's race in a PB time of 8:16 .  In the men's race, Donald McPartlin finished 5th (3rd Young Male)  in 7:32 - an excellent result as a relatively recent competitor to ultra running.  Our Vice President, Duncan McKellar finished in 9:07, our inspiring junior coach Alex Chalmers in 9:44, Malcolm Shepherd in 10:46 and Barbara Anderson in 12:05.  Full results availableWe also had some relay teams competing on the route, all running under fun names...
